I acquired a Model 1893 ( so marked on the tang) Ser # 1144XX mfg in 1894. It has, however a model 36 A DL bbl and forestock in 30-30. Could this have been a factory replacement or ?? Overall the entire gun is very clean. Any help? Many Thanx to all for reading my post.
