Does anyone know what front sight was standard issue on the 1893 Marlin 30-30's and 32 special.,if they were offered in that caliber, short rifles?
What were the barrel lengths offered for these short rifles ? 20 ,22 and 24 ?
Thanx ,Malcolm.

Re: Marlin 1893 Short rifles barrel length and front sight.
Marlin would special order almost anything you wanted, but usually in even number inch length. I had an 1893 Marlin half octagon, takedown, short rifle with 18" barrel. So I know they made some under 20" long.
Marlin lever actions 1870's-WWI, Ballards, and single shot rifles!
