Gun value ?

Post by Penhook »

I have a Marlin model 1894 rifle. It has the half round barrel in 2520 cal. and is in great condition. Just wondering what it is worth. My grandfather gave it to me some 50 plus years ago. I have never shot it because before the internet there was no way to find or buy ammo in that cal. so it has just set in my gun safe all these years. Thanks for any information anyone can give me about it.

Every guy's opinion of condition is different, so it's impossible to even make a close guess based on how we might feel "great condition"? We'd need very detailed pictures of the whole gun, with close up pictures of the receiver, stocks, sights, and an accurate description of the bore condition. Even then it can just be a price guesstimate, and not as accurate as a hands on inspection. But without this I couldn't get any closer than you could.
