My mothers husband recently passed and left my mother with a very large gun collection. Of them is a 1984 built Marlin 41 magnum model 1894S with the JM stamp on the barrel. Overall the gun is in very good shape with a few minor flaws. Some dings in the stock ans 1 small rust spot on the part of the barrel that rhe ammunition is stored in. I am trying to find an approximate value as she will be selling all of her guns to help pay for living expenses.
At first I was thinking $500 or so but after digging in this gun appears to be worth at least 3x that. I don't see an option to put pics but like I said, it is very well preserved for a gun made almost 40 years ago.
