Newbie question, Just purchased a 336SC waffle top in 35 Rem. (1952). My question is , Did Marlin ever mfg.
these with a front swivel? This one came with a front swivel mounted about 3/4 inch from the front of the
magazine tube. The barrel and the magazine tube are milled to accept the swivel screw. I am getting mixed
reviews on this. Most say no but some say that a few came with swivels.

Gopher2;
The Marlin Model 336 SC was not equipped with sling swivels. The Model 336 SD was, but also had factory checkered stocks. The front sling swivel on the 336 SD was mounted to the bottom of the forearm cap, not the magazine tube.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
