Model 1889

Post by RickB »

Hi Y'all,
I have an 1889 32/20. I need a stock, hard to find. Will a stock from other models fit the 1889?

RickB;

If you do not have to have an original stock, you can purchase a new one from Precision Gun Stocks of Kerrville, Texas. Go to www.precisiongunstocks.com and get a new one. List price on the site is $85.00 and it pretty much ready to go. Some inletting and finishing is necessary, but at least you will have a stock.
Good luck......
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.

If the world was perfect.......it wouldn't be.

I have fit Model 1894 stocks to 1889 models, but it takes some more inletting around the lower tang to make them fit.
Marlin lever actions 1870's-WWI, Ballards, and single shot rifles!
