model 93 inf needed

so as stated in previous post i bought a mdl 93 30-30 which appears to be a sport mdl short feed barrel, it also has a very unique stock and forgrip its not checkered but very intriquet stipple looks to be factory i can't find any info on this if it was something the factory offered at that time i don't mean to be a bother but would really like to know year of gun and any thing else the serial # is 8954 again i don't know who else can help thank you

Stippled stocks were never factory.
