hi can you tell me what year this rifle might be it says on barrel 36G--------30-30 serial # AA57271 any info would really help,thank you

A Marlin Model 36 G with a serial number having the "AA" prefix was made in 1965.
The Model 36 G ( Glenfield version of the Model 336 ) was made in 1964 & 1965. There were a total of 5,930 of the 36 G's made in .30-30 caliber only. In 1965, the Model 36 G sold for $84.95.
