Model '97

Post by mplatfoot »

Good morning. I have inherited a Model '97 from my Dad through my older brother, that originally belonged to my grandfather. I was curious if anyone would help me with the age of the rifle (serial number 3409**), and if someone could direct me to an exploded parts diagram. My brother disassembled the rifle and in the process, has misplaced a few pieces. I believe that I need a firing pin and associated springs, along with the magazine spring and any follower(s). Thank you in advance for any and all help. I want to make sure the rifle is complete, and in solid working order before attempting to fire.

You can check out a company called Numrich. They sell old gun parts but many of the parts seem to get purchased fast because many of the parts are out of stock. Good luck with your search.
