I was at a local gun shop the other day and saw a Marlin 336RC 30-30.
The rifle seems to be in good shape
The serial number seems to put a production date of 1957
They are asking 395.00
Just wondering if that is a good price
Thanks in advance

Raferguson;
Depending upon your definition of "good shape", that would be a good price. Hard to find a pre-cross bolt safety Model 336 under $400.00 in good shape. If it has most of the original blue and finish on the wood, that is a good price. That is about the time all Marlin rifles were changed over to the Micro-Groove rifling. If this gun has the old style, Ballard rifling, then it becomes more of a collectors item and worth a little more.
Good luck.....

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
