I have a Marlin model 39, serial # S12092, what would be date of manufacture, and approximate value. condition is 50-60%. Thanks

A Marlin Model 39 with the "S" prefix would have been made sometime between 1925 and 1932. With the 12,000 serial number range following the prefix, would indicate it was made in the later part of the time frame, probably even in 1932.
