Model 1894 problem
My 1894 was made in 1901 and is chambered in 25-20... now for the problem, after I fire it the lever is very difficult to cycle, it cycles fine until you either fire it or dryfire it then the problem recurs... anyone who very experience this?

Re: Model 1894 problem
CC1911;
To create the problem you describe, there may be a problem between the two piece firing pin, the breech bolt and the breech bolt locking bolt. Since it only happens when fired or dryfired (bad idea by the way) the breech bolt locking bolt is apparently hanging up with the back section of the firing pin and the breech bolt. Take it apart, and check all the parts for damage. Stone off any burrs then reassemble with light oil to see if the problem goes away.
Good luck........

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
