Question Re factory tapped receiver screw holes.
Could anyone tell me when Marlin quit drilling and tapping the two receiver screw holes for Hepburn's combination sight.

Smithywess;
Officially, that would have ended when the Marlin family sold the business to the conglomerate that bought the factory to build machine guns for WW I. But, there were some already drilled and tapped receivers on hand that both Marlin Arms Corporation and Marlin-Rockwell Corporation used to build sporting arms during the period they had the company. After 1921, the Marlin Firearms Company guns were no longer drilled and tapped for the Hepburn sight.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
