I have a Marlin 1895 Limited V in 45-70. It a combo hex/round barrel. Where can i find information relative date of manufacture and value. The serial is 688.
These are limited runs of production, usually by Davidsons, where they order a thousand so yours would be the 688th rifle in that run. I don't have the breakdown for the various runs but someone should be along shortly who can tell you based on the model.
