Being as it was made in 1951, it will have Ballard rifling and it will also have a pistol grip stock, as Marlin did not introduce a staight stock until the 1953 Texan. By the way, RC stands for Regular Carbine, SC is a Sporting Carbine, and the A is a rifle.
