Your Marlin 336 RC(regular carbine) was made in 1965. Hope this helps.

Hi Jorgy:

Congratulations on the new Model 1893 you acquired. Sounds like a winner.

Regarding the AD prefix, I think you'll find that this is 1968, not 1965.
