At the resent Tulsa gun show a vendor had a Levermatic that was marked Model 57 on barrel and also 22 Magnum but not Model 57 M
It was also checkered, the vendor said it was a deluxe model? I have found not other references to a deluxe model of this Marlin available, so I passed as did others. I have other 57M but they are all marked 57M not just Model 57. Anyway does anyone have any thoughts on this if this model was available checkered from the factory?
