Trialsrider;

A Marlin rifle with a serial number in the 447,000 range is a late gun produced during the production of firearms made under the Marlin family leadership. The Marlin family sold the business in late 1915. Your gun would have been made in either very late 1913, or early to mid 1914. No factory records exist after December of 1906, so this is an estimate based on the serial number of a gun known to have been made in the fall of 1913.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.

If the world was perfect.......it wouldn't be.
