Identify Model 39a

Post by ahlosojoe »

Hey fellows this is my first post with you. Thought I would save a lot of time and just go straight to the top! I received a pic of a Marlin 39 a with a bull's eye black and white diamond inlay on both sides of the stock. How about it? Never saw one before. Is this factory? SN # n21xxx. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Joe

No, not factory.
Marlin lever actions 1870's-WWI, Ballards, and single shot rifles!
