In your response of August 17, 2013, in the Lever Action category regarding the use of high speed ammo, you said the bolt cracking issue included pump action guns. I had not read about that before. I have a Model 38, serial number D428, which is probably late production -- around 1930 is my guess. What should I look for to make sure this gun is not damaged?
