Model 29 Rimfire pump

Post by oldguy62 »

Is there ANY information, books, manuals, dvd's, cd's, extra sensory percerption, ANYTHING, on the disassembly and re-assembly (complete!) for this thing? I can figure a lot out by sort of comparing it to the old lever actions and sort of substituting in mt head differant parts.. but an assembly guide would be welcome and Marlin itself is ZERO help.
Anything would be MOST appreciated.

Oldguy62;

You might try to use the Marlin Model 20 as a substitute search. The Model 29 and the Model 20 are about the same gun, although the Model 29 is a later version of the Model 20 which had several improvements over the years it was produced. A parts diagram can be seen at Numrich Gun Parts Corporation (www.e-gunparts.com) I know of no instructional information about assembly around. The closest thing to instructions in the old Marlin catalogs can be found in the 1907 catalog. Reproduction catalogs can be purchased from Cornell Publishing. There is a link on our "LINKS" page of this website.
I hope this helps.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
