marlin 39-A

Post by brucest »

I have a Marlin 39-A limited edition 22 purchased sometime around the late 1950s to early 1960s, it is #177 of 500 made, it is chrome plated with a squirrel carved in the butt. I was wondering what the value might be.

Brucest;

There have been several of the 90th Anniversary Model 39-A's sold recently at the Rock Island Auction Regional auctions. Most of them were new, in the box with all original hang tags and papers. On average, they sold between $1,200.00 and $1,500.00. Yours, if you do not have the box and hang tags will be worth less, but is still desirable to collectors.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.
