A-1

Post by hunn40 »

Parts needed.
I just received an A-1 from a relative. This gun seems to be in very good shape but the hammer spring and the recoil springs are missing.
Does anyone have a good source for these. I have tried Numrich and Wollf Sprins wiyhout success.

Thanks

Hunn40;

You might try Bob's Gun Parts ( www.gun-parts.com ) They list some A-1 parts and say to ask about other parts.
Good luck..........
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

I did find one of the springs on Numrich Gun Parts.
Do you know if the hammer Spring and the recoil spring are different.
My A1 was missing them when I received it.

hunn40,
I just disembled an old a-1. Appeared to me that both springs are identical, but I'm no gunsmith. They are indistinguishable to me.
