39 Marlin

I have the task of disposing of a deceased friend's gun collection. One of the rifles is a model 39. It is inexceptional condition, with an octagon 24" barrel, scalloped pistol grip, original butt plate, case coloured reciver but no checkering.
The original finish appears to be about 90-95%
The five digit serial #is 11845. I would be greatful for some help establishing a value for this rifle & possibly selling to a collector. Digital photos can be provided
