Help finding manual/parts for model 20-A .22 pump action

Post by patriotmomma »

Have my father's old Marlin model 20-A .22 pump action rifle, which needs some parts/repair.

Does anyone know where I might find a parts manual and parts for it?

I realize it's not a highly valuable gun, but has sentimental value to me.
It was my dad's first gun, which he bought used about age 7 (yes, kids could be trusted with guns back then!)
during the height of the Great Depression about 1935 or 1936.

It seems to be missing a couple screws or pins, and has a cracked off retention tab on the magazine tube, which will not draw the magazine spring back properly.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Patriotmomma;

You can find a parts diagram at www.e-gunparts.com and maybe some of the parts you need.
Otherwise, you will need to watch eBay, Gun Broker and Auction Arms for parts and hope to get lucky. You can check with Bob's Gun Parts, (www.gun-parts.com) or Wisner's (www.wisnersinc.com) but I doubt that have what you need. Some parts are just very hard to come by.......
Good luck.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.

If the world was perfect.......it wouldn't be.
