Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on a sling for a Model 1881 45/70? I know there are leather smiths out there that do them on a custom basis, but the ones I’ve checked with are a little pricey. Naturally, I have NO desire to drill any holes for swivels.
Thanks!!!

Re: Sling for 1881 45/70?
I have a slip type sling for my old guns that I don't want to hang swivels on. It uses a loop on each end that slips open to go over the buttstock and barrel, then just slide it closed until it's snug around the area you want it to be. I found it at a gun show for $10.
