Year of 39 HS
Hi. I recently picked up a 39 HS prefix high speed. The serial number is HS 3901. Is there anyway to know what year it is? Thanks

The HS serial number prefix started in 1932 and continued until the end of the Model 39 production in 1939 when replaced by the Model 39-A.
With a lower serial number in the 3900 range, it most likely will be tail end of the 1932 year or early 1933. There are no records for this time frame, so we can only estimate this.
