Model 1936 stock / value

I have a marlin model 1936 serial number 229L and I am looking for a replacement stock any info will help. Also I am wondering what year it was made and a rough value. I'm not looking at selling it but it was my grandmothers deer rifle and I'm trying to learn the history on it.
