Model 81 marlin 22 AL-S-L-LR Parts

Hi i just joined this forum and glad I did I have learned so much already. By reading some of Regnier's post I have figured out that I have a Model 81 whith markings as follows 22 AL-S-L-LR the it has a line with a dot half way down it then the letter A I have know idea what the line with dot and the letter A means.I hame looking for the magazine and Firing pin for this bolt action rifle it was handed down to my dad it did not work then its been in a pack barn for about 35 years Regnier I would really like to talk to you Sir if you could PM me that would be great. Sorry, I have been away and missed your post. Sometimes I keep up on things when I am away, but I do miss things from time to time.
So, is your rifle a bolt action or a semi-automatic, .22 caliber rifle? The Model 81 is a bolt action, but are you sure the AL in barrel marking is not A1 instead?
Some parts can be found on eBay. Have you checked Numrich Gun Parts Corporation as well?
