1908 1909 Marlin Hammer shot gun.

Hello , Harry the Hat I'm new here, Nice to be here.
Have a question.
I recently came upon two marlin hammer pump guns.
12 gauge
With out the Safety.
The numbers I have found on the trigger guard tang 28CC
the other one is 6573.
Both guns have this same number series : " Patent March 24 and May 19th 1908 , November 23 1909 . two patents- pending."
Does anybody have any idea when they were made , and any Information they can share .
It would be greatly appreciated
I'm new to this forum and will be looking it over . Looking for Disassembly instructions and or photos .

The patent dates you list indicate a later gun than a gun that would not have the hang fire safety release. All 12 gauge guns but the Model 1898 had the model number stamped on the upper tang, behind the hammer. Is there a model number there? The only model I can find with the patent dates you mention is for the Model 19 N which would have had a hang fire safety release. There are several Model 19's with a letter designation, so the hang fire safety release may be either the push button up by the hammer or a lever down in the trigger guard, just forward of the trigger.
If neither release is there, then you may have a early Model 1898 that have had the barrels replaced.
