need a part!
just got a call from my gunsmith..he says my lever action Marlin model 1889 (.38-40) has a broken firing pin. unfortunaely, the broken piece is gone, he's not very hopeful of finding a replacement. he is also a little skeptical about rebuilding mine.....does anyone have a line on one? If anyone knows of a firing pin, they can email me direct at eviedale@comcast.net.....thanks in advance!
