I have an early A1. With the bolt full rearward, the bolt operating handle is supposed to just pull out from the side of the bolt. On my gun, the bolt is either rusted in or an alternate locking system was employed; I am unable to disassemble the remainder of the gun.
Does anyone know if another method besides the pin & groove method to lock the operating handle to the bolt was used; and if so how do I remove the bolt handle?
I have checked out all of tigweld's photos.

rwaller,
Welcome to the forum. I have found sometimes that the bolt handle plunger will become fixed in place by rust/debris. You might try spraying one of the many rust-cutting type lubricants around the bolt handle and see if the plunger will loosen up.
Are you able to twist the bolt handle back and forth at all ,or is this also frozen in place?
