MFCA Marbles knife

Post by sneekpete »

I was wondering what information I can get about a Marbles Fieldcraft Jig Bone knife. It has the Marlin horse and rider logo and the MFCA logo on the blade, a bulls-eye inlayed in the handle. How many were made and when? What might this be worth?

Sneekpete;

I found a copy of the "Marlin Collector" newsletter dated May 2006 that lists that particular knife for sale to the membership for $95.00 The knife was a limited edition, and I believe there were less than 200 made overall. As to current value, I cannot say as I do not know of any that have sold recently.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
