Marlin Firearms Collectors Association

In the mid 1980s, a friend, now deceased, had a unique sling on one of his Marlins. It was leather, perhaps an inch and one eighth wide with a wooden spool fastened into the sling so that it could be tightened or loosened by pulling on the spool. If I remember correctly, the sling was marked "Marlin."

Has anyone seen such a sling; where could suck a sling be obtained today? I am only 66 so hopefully, I am not dreaming in my dotage.

Thanks, TNT. That is not the one. I would try to get hold of the fellow I knew who had the sling in question but since he is dead, it is a bit hard to have a conversation with him these days.
