Hello,
I have a model 27-S, caliber 25-20 that I'm thinking of selling. Can someone offer a ballpark estimate on what it may be worth? It's in good shape I guess to be so old, shoots good but action is a little stiff. Normal scratches and dings. The receiver appears to have been attempted to be refinished as it looks silver and doesn't match the bluing on the barrel. serial number is 4210 with a star beside it. Not sure if the star means anything.

Last one I saw sell on GB went for a tad over $700 in excellent condition . I dropped out of the bidding at $500 when two others took over .

Thanks for the reply. I still have the rifle but thought it would be worth a bit more. Oh well, I'll hang on to it.
