WTS- Stock's for new Marlin 336

I bought a set of Boyd's brown laminated stocks for my Marlin 336, and I had gunsmith remove about 3/16" of of the new butt stock to install a soft butt pad, but the stock does not fit my older Marlin lever. This set is brand new and comes with above mention buttstock, and 2 forearms, one for a band fit, and one for a cap fit.
