WTB, looking for models 1881, (cal 45-70) models 1889 ( cal 44-40) and models 1893 B models that have the black powder marling on the barrel ( cal 32-40 & 38-55)
let me know iff you have anyhting available, i prefer any condition as long as the gun is mechanicly ok and sound and that the bore is good too.

I have a very nice `81 with a low 4 digit serial number in 45-70. Bore is perfect, wood is nice with most of its original varnish remaining. Metal is very nice as well with most original blue on the frame and barrel. Barrel is 28 inches, tang sight as well as original rear sight, never messed with. Health declining and I need to start getting rid of a few things. Give me a call if
