I could use a takedown screw for the sideplate that would work on a 91 92 97 maybe early 39. The one I have now is incorrect slotted one from a 39a I think...I am unsure but I do not think the early ones used the slotted head...Thanks

Dave, I have an unmolested 336A waffletop but the original buttplate was broken when I got it. I have tried the replacement repro pads and they just aren't the same. Would you happen to have the one which has the molded in numbers 39445?

Dave,
I'm looking for the carrier for a 1967 336 in .44. Any chance you have it or know where I can get it?

Thanks Jim

Hello everyone. I hope you can forgive a new member as I am unsure if this is the right place to post about this:

My grandfather recently passed away, he was a WW2 vet and an avid shooter. Along with some very fine rifles and pistols, I also acquired a few 1945 model 80's. The entire model number is: 80-DL-22 cal-S-L-LR. The rifle in question is in extremely good condition with only some slight scratches on the stock. It is an entire piece, there are no parts missing, and despite the fact that it hasn't been used in apx. 50 or so years, the oil still appears very new. I was hoping someone could give me an estimate on the price of this particular rifle. I understand that it is not by any means a collectible, but more of an antique. Thank you so much.

Would like to know more about your gun. Email me at vaughnpjones@verizon.net. Photos if you have, barrel length, checkering, etc.

Anyone got an 1894 Octagonal beakdown rifle barrel in 25-20 or 32-30? Ijust got a '94 (low six digit number) that's fine except some nit-wit cut the barrel & mag tube down to 16 1/2" ! I'm not sure if the break-down is a modification to the barrel, a different barrel, or doesn't make any difference. This is my second Marlin, and my sister sold my dad's 38-55 when I was in the army back in the mid-seventies, so I don't know much about them beyond ther great handling. I'm not looking forward to fitting up a barrel from a blank.
