39A Mountie Carved Stock - info please

Post by Lefever nut »

Have an unusual 39A Mountie w/ orignal Marlin 4x scope ser # V 12xxx. 20" barrel. Straight grip.
But has it has nice heavy carved oiled finished stock. Oak leaves on forearm, oak leaves on grip and...right side of stock has what appears to be a sitting indian in contemplation by campfire. Kinda unusual. Any ideas? Comments greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have photos (jpg) but unable to post as I am unable to attach to this post and based on faq's do not have a publicly accesible site to drop images to. Happy to share images if someone can somehow assist me in posting pics to message board. Thanks!

Here are the pictures, only one I have seen with carving in the stock was aftermarket by the owner who was a carver.
