Need trigger and mainspring for early 39A

Post by longbeard »

I recently purchased an early model 39A from an estate. The gun is in very good overall condition other than missing the trigger and the main spring. The serial number on the case hardened tang is four digits and reads 3xxx. It has the "S" style pistol grip stock and a curved lever. I have searched the internet far and wide and have not been able to locate a source. Any information regarding a source for parts and a date of mfg would be greatly appreciated.

Longbeard;

Have you been to http://www.wisnersinc.com ?? They have flat springs available. If you need a coil spring type, go to http://www.e-gunparts.com They should have the trigger spring for about any model. You may need to use the Model 39 information to get the items you are looking for.
Good luck.......

Regnier,
I have checked with Wisner and they should be able to supply the mainspring, finding the trigger has been my problem. Thanks for your assistance.
