Banned domain names

Post by webmaster »

Until further notice, I am banning hotmail and gmail from signing up for new accounts. This is where a large percentage of the spammers are coming from. I apologize to any legitimate people wanting to sign up, you will need to use a different email to sign up.

Don't apologize to the illegitimate people! Apologize to the legitimate ones!

This new format is going to take some getting used too.

I guess I wrote this too fast. I meant legitimate people. I have edited my comment above. As for cleaning up the pornographic posters I believe it is going to help.

See the discussion here.

I am going to try lifting the ban on gmail and hotmail accounts. This new software doesn't show account until they have been verified so it removes the incentive for spammers to sign up to get their web link viewed.
