Crunkkl;

Is this a Model 39 or a 39-A? The Model 39 will have an octagon barrel with pistol grip stock. The 39-A has a round barrel and pistol grip stock.
The number listed would go for a Model 39, and a 39-A would have a longer number than the one you listed. Complete information will make a difference.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

A Model 39 with a serial number ( and no letter "S" or "HS" prefix) in the 2700 range would have been manufactured most likely in the first year of manufacture, which was 1921.
From 1921 to 1925, there was not letter prefix to the serial number. From 1925 to 1932, the letter "S" was used as a serial number prefix.
From 1932 to 1939, there was the letters "HS" added as a prefix to the serial number of the Model 39.
