Not a lot to go on there, but with the upper tang marked Model '93, it was made after 1921.
Is there a trademark Marlin Bullseye in the toe of the stock?
Is the barrel marked Marlin Firearms Company or Marlin Firearms Corporation?
Where is the serial number located? Up near the forearm or back, under the lever?
Pictures would help to determine if the checking is factory original. Very few guns after 1921 had factory checking.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.

If the world was perfect.......it wouldn't be.
