Marlin Firearms Collectors Association

My husband has an old Marlin lever action .30-30. It was given to him from his father and for years has sat in the gun cabinet. The serial number on it is 10889. He is looking to possibly sell it, the problem with that is I cant find pictures or articles of this gun. I have found newer models and similar guns but not this one. It has no engravings or designs. The model number I believe says 36-RC. Then it has .30-30 CAL--------------A. The gun itself I believe is all original. Can anyone tell me about it or where to find info on it and it's worth?

check gunbrokers ,com and find one in simillar condition that has actually sold
