A Marlin Firearms Co. Rifle

Post by Mmcmillan »

My father passed away and kept a Model 336 - SC 32Special Cal. Rifle that belonged to him. I can't find anything about it on the internet. Does anyone know about this rifle?

Gun was manufactured in 1949. It should be the sporting carbine version (hence the "SC") with 20" barrel and 2/3rds
magazine. The 32 Special chambering is less encountered, 30-30 and 35 Remington being more common. (There were also some 219 Zipper guns manufactured in the late '50's.)
Whatever happens, we have got
The Maxim Gun
And they have not.
