Marlin 39 firing pin
I recently purchased an older Marlin 39. It is the HS variety of the model 39, but upon removal of the bolt I discovered the firing pin is broken. Does anyone know does the model 39A firing pin fit the model 39's and if not does anyone know where a model 39 firing pin can be purchased? I have checked Numrich and Brownell's, but they only have the 39A post 1974 firing pins. Thank you in advance for your help!

Here's one you can try: (http://www.dickwilliamsgunshop.com/)
They have helped me out many times with a hard to find part.
You can give them a call or e-mail. Good luck !

PaulP;
Another place to check is Wisner's. You can find them at www.wisnersinc.com They list the Model 97/39 firing pin at $20.50.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
