I would like information on a Marlin model 3082 30/30 lever action Limited calvary commemorative edition SN/000493 any info such as date of manufacture, price etc will be greatly appreciated. Marlin Co. Cannot give me anything and referred me to you.

The gun you have was made for the Oklahoma Tire and Supply Company (OTASCO) in 1982. It is the same gun as the Marlin Glenfield Model 30A and would have about the same value as any other Model 30A. Marlin made a number of commemoratives for OTASCO over the years. Each year, there was the .30-30 caliber gun and a .22 caliber, semi-automatic rifle made with the same medallion imbedded in the stock.
