Marlin Micro Groove barrel MOD.336

Just looking for info on this .336? The serial number starts with 19, so I'm thinking manufactured in 1981. But it has a straight stock with the Marlin bulls eye, but no white line spacer on the butt pad. The barrel is 18'' with a full length magazine tube. The trigger appears to have a yellowish tint? The rifle has walnut stocks and a front sling barrel clamp mounted just forward of the forearm. Would this be a "Texan"?
