We have a Marlin 1893 saddle gun with a square bolt #422205 Marlin safety on top of reciever. We would like to have a ball park of worth. Its in great condition, model 36

That serial number indicates your Model 1893 saddle ring carbine would have been made around 1912 or so. What pray tell do you mean by the Model 36 at the end of your post? Does your Model 1893 have a newer Model 36 barrel installed?
