age of my 39as
wondreing age my 39as. serial # 09255731. Has micro groove barell so I think newer than '53 but thats all I know. Its in 98% condition. Paid 350.00 for it a few days ago. Did I do well?

Your Marlin Model 39-AS with the serial number beginning with the digits 09 would have been made in 1991. ( 100 - 09 = 91 or 1991 )
If the gun is as nice as you state, the $350.00 you paid is very fair.

Thank you very much for info. Kinda new to the Marlin world but have admired and wanted a 39a for a long time.
